Miguel "Mike" Uribe

Miguel "Mike" Uribe, age 79, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at home with his loving wife and his beloved dogs close to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Cecilia Uribe.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joyce and his 2 dogs Brandi and Ranger.

Mike was born June 19, 1943 in Evanston, Illinois and was raised in Kansas City MO., where he graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School. After high school, he joined the Navy. After the Navy, he moved to Fairfax, VA and then to Savannah, GA where he joined the Savannah Police Department in 1970 and retired in 1986. He then owned Largo Chevron Service Station in Savannah till 1989. Mike was also a police officer at Georgia Port Authority Police. He also worked as a Deputy at the Chatham County Sheriff's Office and a Deputy at the Effingham County Sheriff's Office where he worked in the Courthouses as a Blue coat.

Mike enjoyed being an auto mechanic, working on cars, going on cruises, riding motorcycles, classic cars, going to car shows and being outside working in the yard on his tractor.

Funeral will be private.
