Melodi Meyer age 52, of Savannah passed away Friday, November 2, 2012.
A graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School she was employed by KBRS in Garden City.
Melodi was preceded in death by her mother, Doreen E. McCumber and is survived by 2 children, Alexis Meyer & Avery Meyer; her father, Lewis R. McCumber; 2 sisters, Melissa McCumber Smith and Melenda (husband Jeff) McCumber Henninge of Savannah; 2 nieces, Brittany Callahan & Morgan Ryals and nephew Joshua Smith, all of Savannah; 2 great-nieces & 2 great-nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and a special friend, John LaBarbera.
The family wishes to extend a special "thank you" to Hospice Savannah and Dr. Lester "Bud" Robertson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 4 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bonaventure Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 5 at 12:00 PM in the Savannah Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home, Father Patrick O'Brien officiating, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
