Melissa Ann Harries, age 65, of Savannah passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020.
Mrs. Harries was born on August 15, 1954 in Succasunna, NJ, the daughter of the late Albert and Jackie Palmer Harries. She was a faithful member of Compassion Christian Church, East Campus where she was active with the children’s ministry. Melissa was also involved with wildlife rescue.
Mrs. Harries was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Harries. She is survived by her son, Allen Bennett; daughters, Denise Harding, April Harding, Penny Kronz, and Kristen Bennett; and 3 grandchildren.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with a private funeral service which will be held at Compassion Christian Church, East Campus.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, GA 31405 or Compassion Christian Church, East Campus, 9150 Old Montgomery Road, Savannah, GA 31406.
