Melany D. Clearman

Melany D. Clearman (formerly Funk), born September 6, 1965, passed away at St. Joseph’s hospital in Savannah, Ga. on October 1, 2021 after a brief illness. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Steve Clearman, and loving mother to their two daughters, Victoria (Tori) 21, and Abigail (Abby) 17. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her sweet soul and kind nature will be remembered by her surviving sisters, Miranda Sheridan of Guyton, Ga., Diane Oglesby of Deltona, Fl.; and younger brother, Eldyn Funk of Savannah, Ga. Melany was a generous and giving person who was loved by many, and we are saddened by the sudden loss of her from our lives. Melany was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Imogene Funk. Her greatest joy was her family, and she was dedicated to the happiness of Steve, Tori, and Abby.

A memorial service for Melany will be held at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
