Megan Carol Seel, age 78, of Savannah/The Landings passed away Monday, December 5, 2022.
Mrs. Seel was born in Bremerton, WA on June 7, 1944, the daughter of the late Douglas and Alice Carrol. She pursued her undergraduate and graduate studies at Smith College and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers Law School. She practiced law and was a partner with McCarter & English and ultimately retired after practicing with Raymond Trombadore. Megan enjoyed gardening, reading, and watercolor painting. She was an active philanthropist and proudly supported hospice, but above all she loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Seel was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Thomas G. Seel and her sister, Cathy Carrol. She is survived by her son, Nathaniel Seel; brother, Matthew Carrol; sisters, Susan Carrol and Sarah Carrol; and grandchildren, Zachary Seel and Alison Carrol.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with a private funeral service that will take place at a later date.
