Max L. Lowry, Sr., 72, of Guyton, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at his home under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice and surrounded by his family.
Max was a Baptist and was retired from J.C. Lewis Ford. He enjoyed racing and restoring tractors.
Survivors include his children, David Lowry (Brenda), Danny Lowry (Page), Lynette Mathis (Stoney), Brian Lowry (Michelle), Summer McChesney (Kevin) and Max L. Lowry, Jr.; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Mark Lowry (Joyce), other family and many friends.
There will be a gathering Friday, February 26, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel followed by a service beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Micheal Elliott officiating.
The family ask in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to Compassionate Care Hospice, 138 Canal Street, Suite 304, Pooler, GA 31322.
