Matthew "Matt" Eric Coleman, 25, of Eden died after a tragic accident on Friday, November 13, 2015.
Matthew was born in Savannah and attended Effingham County Public School System. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and computer games. As a child Matthew was active at Powers Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, R.C. and Jessie P. Jones and his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Coleman.
Survivors include his parents, Emory "Rudy" and Patricia Jones Coleman, Jr.; brother, Stephen Coleman; paternal grandparents, Emory R.. and Barbara Coleman, Sr.; a niece, Annabel Coleman; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him.
A service to celebrate Matthew's life will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in the Chapel of the Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
