Mary Elizabeth Tillis Waters

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Tillis Waters, a beloved resident of Ellabell, Georgia. Born on Wednesday, December 9th, 1959, in Savannah, Georgia, Mary left this world on Monday, November 25th, 2024.

Mary dedicated her life to her family and her community. She retired as a devoted store clerk and had previously served as a nurses assistant, where her genuine care for others left a lasting impact. Beyond her professional life, Mary was known for her creative spirit, enjoying crafts and flower arranging. Her humor and warmth brightened the lives of all who knew her, and her love for her family was unmatched.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Gene Brabham, Timothy Howard, Michael Howard and Brittany Brabham. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Gene Jr., Kyle, Logan, Ethan, Ariel, Isabel, Jasmin, Christopher, Jr., and Novalyn. Mary's life was enriched by numerous other family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harry Waters, Jr.; her father, John Tillis; her mother, Bradie Mock; and her dear children, Christopher Howard and Kelly Brabham. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew them.

A graveside service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Monday, December 2nd, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bloomingdale, Georgia. The family extends their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
