Mary Othelle Smith Yates, formerly of Savannah, Georgia died Monday February 1, 2016 at Gracemont Assisted Living in Cumming, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lehman Yates, Sr. and grandson Kyle Burkhalter.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane Burkhalter (Swint) of Jasper, Georgia; and a son, John Lehman Yates Jr. of Tybee Island, Georgia, several grandchildren,great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Visitation: 10 - 11 am Wednesday February 3, 2016 in the Chapel of Calvary Baptist Temple with the service to follow at 11 am.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
