Mary Lucille Mcgrady
November 23, 1936 — May 27, 2023
Mary Lucille Hayes McGrady went home to be with the Lord after an extended illness from dementia.
She was a spirited, wonderful and deeply loving Mother, and a Southern Lady.
She was a lifelong resident of Savannah, Ga, and a graduate of Savannah High School Class of 1954. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She worked for many years at C&S Bank, Savannah Bank And Trust. and Shipyard Plantation.
She is survived by her Son and Caregiver Don McGrady; nieces, Lesley Ann Denmark Silvestris(Paul), Mary Sharon Denmark Gaines(Dale/deceased); a nephew Dean Hayes Denmark(Katie); a cousin, Susan Denmark McBride; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Infant Brother James Kelley Hayes Jr, Her Brother James William Hayes, Her Father James Kelley Hayes, Her Mother Lillie May Greer Hayes, Her Father in Law Hayse Alexander McGrady, Her Husband Don Lewis McGrady, Her Uncle Bailey Hammond Greer, Her Step Brother in Law Donald Frank Rusher, Her Daughter Cynthia Ruth McGrady, Her Mother in Law Mary Mulligan McGrady Rusher. Her Sister in law Mary Ann McGrady Denmark, Her Brother in law Iler Dean Denmark, Her Step Sister Ruth Hayes Peoples. Her Step Brother in Law Red Peoples.
A celebration of life and Graveside Service will be held at Bonaventure Cemetery on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
