Mary Ann McDonald, age 72, of Savannah passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020.
Miss McDonald was born on June 19, 1948 in Savannah, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Brooks McDonald. She was raised by her grandparents, the late Roy and Annie Brooks as well as her step-grandmother, the late Frances M. Brooks. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Brooks. She was a member of The Lighted Pathway at Bible Baptist Church. She loved meeting new people, going to the mall, and also loved seeing the animals when she visited the humane society.
Miss McDonald is survived by her sister, Jewel Bethel (Richard); brother, Eddie Brooks (Suzanne); nephews, Dawson Brooks and Brian Bethel; great nephews, Skyler and Jesse Bethel; great niece, Kelsie Bethel; great great nephew, Brayden Bethel; great great niece, Olivia Bethel; close friend, Selina Bennett; and a host of cousins and friends.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with a private graveside service at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
