Mary Alice Mackin

Mary Alice Bryant (Washburn) Mackin, age 98, of Savannah passed peacefully Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Born June 8,1924 to Leon and Eunice Bryant in Aiken, SC, she spent most of her childhood in Twin City, GA.

Mary Alice loved life and lived a long and wonderful one. She loved fishing, dancing, BINGO, ceramics, aerobics and most of all, her family!

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, (Earl Washburn and Jimmy Mackin), daughter Mary (Doug) Bean, son Ronnie (Joan) Washburn and 7 of her siblings.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by all who knew her, and especially daughter Pat (Larry) North and son Carl (Karen) Washburn, grandchildren; Flint (Amber) North, Chris North, Clay North, April (Edgar) Damian, Josh North, Brandon (Carolyn) Washburn, Heather (Chad) Stokes, Ryan Earl Washburn, Jennifer (Jason) Pelletier, Michael (Celeste) Bean, Ronnie Washburn, Jr., Christie (David) Prestenback, Jessica (Mike) Altis and Jaiden Washburn, as well as 29 great-grands and her sister Marjorie DiNitto.

Funeral services : 10am, Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home in Garden City with burial following at Hillcrest Abbey West in Garden City, GA.
