Mary Kessler Moore, 81, of Guyton, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at her residence, in Guyton, Ga., under the care of Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Baxley, Ga., and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Stewart Kessler and Lena Tanner Kessler, and her brother, Joseph E. Kessler.
She was a member of The Sanctuary, and the Quilting Angels of Zion Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Russell Moore, Guyton, Ga; 2 sons, William Randall Moore, (Mary Ann) Bloomingdale, Ga; and Russell A. Moore, (Pamella) Rincon, Ga; 4 daughters, Judy Shuman, (Larry) Garden City, Ga; Pam Ray, Simpsonville, SC, Janet Sherrod, (Charles) Guyton, Ga; and Karen Gernatt, (Jimmy) Rincon, Ga.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Michael Ray, Matthew Ray, Andy Ray, Bucky Moore, Shayne Moore, Allen Sherrod and Josh Gernatt.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of the Bonaventure Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry McDaniel, and Dr. Hugo Hammond, officiating. Interment will follow in HIllcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
