Mary Hayslip Gay, 82, of Faulkville passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
A native of Lyons, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George W. Hayslip and Della Columbia Kight Hayslip.
Mary was a homemaker and a long time member of Savannah Holy Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years, Wilton J. "Bill" Gay, Sr., son, Danny Gay, brother, George Elliott Hayslip, sisters, Della Laneth Hayslip James and Linda Moye.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Gay of Faulkville, 2 sons, Wilton J. "Joey" Gay, Jr. (Marie) of Faulkville, Thomas Gay of Faulkville; daughter-in-law, Melanie Gay of Lucedale, MS; 7 grandchildren, Shane Gay, Miranda Punturi (Chris), Amelia Roberts (Justin), Dwight Gay, Andrew Gay (Jessica), Danielle Gay, and Amber Davis; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Tommie Thompson, Betty Williams, Joyce Darley, Sharon Craft, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ryan Ralston officiation. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
