Mary Frances Sanderson, 86 , of Savannah passed away Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 at her home under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice
A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of late Lonnie Calvin Norton and Clara Flanders Tillman.
She was a Homemaker and a member of New Vision Baptist Church.
Mary Frances was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Warren Sanderson; 2 brothers, James and Lonnie "Buster" Norton.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, O.C. Sanderson; children, Carl Sanderson (Debbie), Sheila Gonzales (Carlos), Raymond Sanderson (Brenda), Shree Shuman (Darnell), Lana Hickox (Michael); daughter-in-law, Lorraine Sanderson; sisters, Juanite Googe, Margaret Wilson (Harold); sister-in-law, Jeanelle Norton; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 23rd, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home, Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Spanish Oaks Hospice .
