Mary Dean Polite Bacon Daniels, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 under the care of Riverview Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Born in Daisy, Georgia to Elizabeth Murchison and Ervin Polite, she was educated in Chatham County and was a longtime resident of Savannah.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Polite, she is survived by her five sons, Herman Lee (Carolyn) Polite, James Smith, Dennis (Debra) Polite, Anthony Bacon, all of Savannah and Michael (Andrea) Bacon of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister, Janet Polite; brother, Hosie (Josephine) Polite; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; her dear friend, Johnnie Mae White and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday, June 23rd at Bonaventure Funeral Home with Funeral Services in the Funeral Home chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey East on Wheaton Street.
