Mary Ruth Daly Smith, 53, of Guyton, Ga., passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Memorial Medical Health University.
She was born in Landstuhl, Germany, but was raised in Savannah, Ga and graduated from Savannah High School, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She loved life and never complained but she was happy to speak her mind and let you know how she felt about something.
For the past 15 years she never missed a morning to give her mom a wake- up call and she never forgot a single family member's birthday and always made a special call to sing happy birthday to them.
Mary embraced life with joy and was a very kind and gentle soul with a most generous heart.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends for she left a lasting impression on them all.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Eugene Smith, Jr., Guyton, Ga; 2sons, Justin Paul Smith, and Jason James Smith; parents, Deacon Michael Francis Daly, and Vera Alderman Daly, of Savannah, Ga; 2 brothers, Michael David Daly, and Robert Steven Daly; 4 sisters, Laura Susan Daye, Joyce Lynn Daly, Nancy Anne Daly and Jennifer Hope Lane , 1 grandson, Alexander James Smith.
Visitation: 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Central Baptist Church, in Central Junction.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Friday in Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Kenny Harrelson, and Father Bret Brannen, officiating.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
