Mary Ruth Cetchovich

Mary Ruth Arnold Cetchovich, age 91, of Savannah, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Ruth was born in Bath, South Carolina and had lived in Savannah for over 50 years. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. She retired after 14 years of service, as a Sales Lady for Krispy Kreme Donuts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Cetchovich; and her life partner, Alexander G. Carellas, of Savannah, Georgia.

She is survived by her son, Elmer Lee Arnold; very close friends, Mary Anne Welsh, Jerry Welsh, Patrick Welsh; her brother, James Arnold, of Noxapater, Mississippi; and her sister, Ruth Xaldex (Eddie Cook), of Bloomingdale, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.

Services are private and will be held at a later date.
