Marvin M. Brucker (USAF Retired), 94, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness.
Major Brucker was born in Canton, Kansas on October 5, 1922, was raised in Montezuma, Kansas, and became a career officer in U.S. Air Force. He retired in Savannah, Georgia in 1966. Major Brucker was preceded in death by his wife, Frances M. Brucker, his brother Milton Brucker, and his sister Joyce Brucker Kumberg. He is survived by his son, Roger L. Brucker, daughter Janice Brucker Yarbrough, and grandsons Cole T. Yarbrough and Miles B. Yarbrough (Carol Lee).
A memorial service will be held at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia, on April 14, 2017 at 11:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the National Museum of the Mighty 8thAir Force.
