Martin George Grotheer Jr, 82, of Guyton GA passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Effingham County Hospital.
A native of Savannah GA, he was the son of the late, Martin George Grotheer Sr. and the late Helen Perks Grotheer.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Virginia Anderson Grotheer.
Martin retired from the City of Savannah where he was a Maintenance Superintendent in the Water Department, he was a member of Frank F. Baker Masonic Lodge # 46 F&AM and the Savannah Chapter #2689 Harley Owners Group.
Survivors include his partner, Marceline Good; sons, Keith (Renee), Kevin (Yvonne), James "Jim"; grandchildren, Erin, Morgan (Rob), Ryan, Rachel; a great granddaughter, Sophie; sister-in-law, Doris Mixon and many friends.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Greenwich Cemetery.
