Marsha A. Hoilman, 66, of Savannah, passed away Saturday, May 20.

She was born in Dayton, OH, a daughter of the late George T. Hoilman and Shirley A. Hoilman.

Marsha attended Gorman Elementary School, Stivers High School and Wright State University in Dayton, OH, where she earned her Bachelor's And Master's Degrees. She earned a Specialist in Education degree from Armstrong State University in Savannah. She was a special education teacher in both the Kettering, Ohio and Chatham County, GA school systems, where she had a profound impact on the lives of the students she taught throughout her career.

She was very active in the Savannah community with such organizations as the Ronald McDonald House and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Marsha was a two-time cancer survivor and team leader in the Race for the Cure. She was a staunch advocate in Savannah, for both cancer awareness and the challenges faced by people with disabilities.

Marsha is survived by her loving mother, Shirley Hoilman of Savannah, GA; sister, Debbie Meine (Ken) of Spring Valley, OH; niece, Alisa Meine of Spring Valley, OH, whom she dearly loved and a large extended family.

She will be truly missed by her many friends and family and the many people whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marsha's memory to the Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia, 2250 E Victory Dr #107, Savannah, GA 31404 or to the Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire, 4710 Waters Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am, Tuesday, May 30 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, following the visitation in the funeral home chapel.
