Marlene Iler

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mrs. Marlene Leonard Iler, age 92, of Savannah who passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Mrs. Iler was born on November 20, 1932 in Bulloch County to the late William Leroy Leonard and the late Alma Futch Leonard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Leonard and Dale Leonard.

Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Raymond D Iler; daughter, Marsha L. Sharp (Don); sons, Randall Iler (Becky), Darrell Iler (Mary), and Russell Iler; brother, Richard Leonard; grandchildren, Tawnya Sargeson (Bill), Amanda Sharp, Steven Iler (Tammy), Sandra Thomas (Saji), Jonathan Iler, Melissa Northup (John); and great grandchildren, Samuel Thomas, Jacob Sargeson, Drake Northup, Joseph Thomas, Sarah Sargeson, Alissa Northup, Savanna Thomas, and Laura Sargeson.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406) with Rev. Matt Black officiating.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd. Savannah GA. 31404).
