Marilyn Rose Mangum Lee, 75, of Bluffton, S.C., died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 at her residence. She was born April 2, 1943 in Pageland, S.C.
She was the daughter of the late Graham and Atha Mangum, and the wife of Larry Dennis Lee, Sr. of Bluffton, S.C. She is survived by 1 son, Charles J. Lee (Charlotte), of Garden City, Ga; and , 2 sisters, Dianne Duncan, Laurens, S.C., and Angela Roop, Florence, S.C., and her beloved dog, "Prince" who was always at her bedside, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Dennis Lee, Jr., of Rincon, Ga She is survived by a daughter in law, Julie Lee of Rincon, Ga; 3 grandsons, Brian Lee, Christopher Lee, and Connor Lee. 2 sisters, Diane Duncan and Angela Roop, 4 nephews, John Duncan, Jeff Duncan, Jonathan Roop and Tim Roop.
She was a Greeter, having retired from Walmart at Hilton Head, S.C. She enjoyed reading, camping and spending time with her family.
A Celebration of her Life Service, will be held at 3 pm Friday September 21, 2018 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
