Marie Amelia Sinclair Holtz, age 75, of Richmond Hill passed away Tuesday January 29th, 2013 at Hospice House in Savannah.
A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Alma Wilson Sinclair and Bernard Sinclair. Marie was a graduate of Pulaski High School. She moved from Green Bay in 1977 to Marquette, Michigan then back to Green Bay in 1993. From 1999-2003, she resided in Perrysburg, Ohio then came to Richmond Hill in 2003. As a member of Holy Martyrs in Green Bay she coordinated the Senior Citizen First Friday lunch program. She was later a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Maumee, Ohio where she sewed Altar Cloths and other items. In Richmond Hill she was a member at St. Anne's Parish.
Marie worked for 20 years at Younkers retail stores in both Green Bay, WI and Marquette, MI. She retired in 1992 from Younkers as a manager.
Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bernard Sinclair, she is survived by her husband James J. Holtz, Richmond Hill, GA; 2 daughters, 3 sons & their spouses, Debbie Caelwaerts (Mike), Green Bay, WI, Kevin Holtz (Kim), Fairplay, MD, Jeff Holtz (Linda), Marquette, MI, Michael Holtz (Judy) Adelanto, CA, & Lisa Holtz Schneider (Carl) of Richmond Hill, GA; 12 grandchildren, Chad Caelwaerts, Jeffery Holtz, Brian Caelwaerts, Amanda Holtz, Jennie Hall, Jane Nauman, Nikolas Holtz, Meghan Holtz, Samantha Holtz, Steven Holtz, Taylor Schneider, and Colby Schneider; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Leo Sinclair, Sobieski, WI; sister, Ann VandeLoo, Green Bay, WI; sister-in-law, Lynn Sinclair, Gillett, WI; sister-in-law, Jan Holtz, DePere, WI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday, February 4th at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Richmond Hill. Funeral Services will be held following visitation at 12:00 pm in St. Anne's Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park East in Savannah.
