Marguerite Burke

Marguerite Redd Burke, 86, of Shawnee, Georgia, died July 27, 2016 at Memorial Medical Health University, surrounded by her family; from injuries received in an auto accident.
She was born in Sardis, Ga., and was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Burke, son, Jimmy Norris Burke, and daughter, Joyce Ann Alderman.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Also a former member of Savannah Baptist Center.
She is survived by 5 sons, John Calvin Burke (Stacy Newman), Jackie L. Burke (Linda), Joseph Allen Burke, Jerry Ray Burke (Beth), and Julian Franklin Burke; 4 daughters, Jan Marie Riggs, (Dean), Judy Elaine Burke, Christina Diane Burke, and Brandy Nicole Burke King; 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation: 9 am to 10 am Saturday, in the Baker McCullough Chapel, in Garden City, Ga.
Funeral Services: 10 am .Saturday, in the Garden City Chapel, of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenny Harrelson, officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
