Margot Dahlheimer Murray, 91, of Garden City, Georgia passed away Sunday March 7, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Offenbach/Main West Germany and moved to Screven County Georgia in 1952
She was a member of Chapel in the Gardens Presbyterian Church PCA and retired from Levy's Department Store after 25 years of service. After retirement, she traveled the United States and Europe. She was a loving Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She died peaceful at home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lannie M. Murray her parents, Anton and Johanna Dahlheimer and brother, George Dahlheimer (Traudel).
She is survived by her son, Melvin Murray (Debra); daughter, Rhonda M. Howell; grandchildren, Anthony Murray (Carly), Lorie M. Beasley; great-grandchildren, Katie Murray, Jacob Murray, Emerson Cole Beasley and Emory Holland Murray; 2 nieces, Carmen Dahlheimer Winkler and Margot Dahlheimer Lotz both of Muehlheim/Main Germany.
A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday at Hillcrest Abbey West Dean Forest Road. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Chapel in the Gardens Presbyterian Church PCA or St. Judes Children Hospital
