Margaret "Mollie" Jeanette Chavis, 73, of Guyton, GA passed away peacefully at the Effingham County Extended Care Facility on Wednesday, March 07, 2018 with her family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bazil V. Chavis and Thelma Jackson Chavis; her sister, Barbara Jane "Cookie" Jackson.
She was a member of the Savannah Holy Church of God.
She is Survived by her siblings, Mary Ann Herron of Aiken, SC, Stephen Chavis (Lois) of Casselberry, FL, Terry Chavis (Brenda) of Register, GA; many nieces, nephews, other family and lots of friends.
A gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, March 09, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with a service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ryan Ralston officiating.
Burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Neese, SC. with Clinton Jackson officiating.
