Margaret Mary McGarity Thompson, 78, of Savannah, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Savannah, Ga., and was a graduate of St. Vincent's Academy High School. She was a Communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
She had formerly worked at the Embassey Lounge in Savannah, for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Randolph William Thompson; 3 children, Tony Moody (Sandy), Forrest John Thompson, Lisa Bashlor (Dewey); grandchildren, Eddy Ray Hackle, III, Logan Cameron Bashlor, Michael Bashlor, Stevie Bashlor, Dustin Skipper, and Ashley Diaz; great grandchild, Jazmin Diaz.
Visitation: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, in the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel, with Father Joseph Smith, officiating.
Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Mausoleum.
