Mamie Ruth Kicklighter Butler, 86, entered eternal rest at Bryan County Health & Rehab Friday, July 1st, 2016, under the care of Hospice of Georgia.
Born in Mendes, Georgia on March 3rd, 1930, Ruthie graduated from Glennville High in 1947. She relocated to Savannah where she began her career at Nations Bank (C&S) that would span 30 years.
Ruthie is survived by her two children: Edward T. Butler, Jr. (wife Susan) and Darlene R. Anderson; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grands and her sister-in-law, Leeressa Kicklighter (preceded in death, Joe Kicklighter.); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 7th, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Bonaventure Funeral Home Chapel, 2520 Bonaventure Road, 912-335-8506, with Visitation for one hour prior to Service. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to: Bryan County Health & Rehab, Hospice of Georgia (Richmond Hill), Magnolia Manor (Richmond Hill), or Richmond Hill Church of Christ.
