Malda Parr Wilson, 89, of Savannah, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022.
Malda was born in Damascus, GA on May 10, 1933. She worked at Belk’s Department Store as a salesclerk for many years and retired in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leila Parr; her father, John Parr; her three sisters, Florence McAllister, Grace Brant and Patti Myers; her four brothers, Carroll Parr, Tommy Parr, Henry Parr and Rusty Parr; and her great grandchild, Krystal.
She is survived by her son, James Wilson, Jr. (Sherry); her daughter, Frances Hodges (Richard); her grandchildren, Christina Hodges, Gloria Chorba, James Wilson, III, Chuck Sprinkle and Jennifer Anderson; her great grandchildren, Christopher, AJ, and Coltin.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406 in our Hodgson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tommy East officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery, 1600 Wheaton Street, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
