Madelyn Miller McDonough, age 77, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Tara Nursing Home.
The funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Bonaventure Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery with Scotty Jobe, Shawn Jobe, Chad Billman, Brian Warren, Jaime Jobe, Courtland Jobe, Michael Mitchell and Kevin Billman serving as pallbearers.
Madelyn was born February 11, 1934 in Savannah to the late Louis D. Miller and Mary Hardaway Miller. She was a member of The Sanctuary and attended Savannah High School. She was a retired waitress with Hong Kong Restaurant.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Michael L. Jobe and wife Sharron of Powder Springs, Ga, Raymond L. Jobe and wife Linda of Thunderbolt, Jimmy E. Scarborough of Savannah, Debbie J. Billman and husband Steve of Ellabell, Ga., Karen J. Marchant and husband Jimmy of Savannah and fourteen grandchildren, Tonya Jobe, Scotty Jobe, Jaime Jobe, Shawn Jobe, Maggie Jobe, Courtland Jobe, Brian Warren, Kevin Billman, Chad Billman, Ashley Gaytan, Holly Mitchell, Michael Mitchell, Kelly Mitchell and Rachael Segars and thirteen great-grandchildren and brother, Fred E. Miller of Savannah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William (Billy) McDonough; son, Howard E. Jobe; one sister, two brothers.
The family will be receiving friends Friday evening, October 7, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
