Mabel Jump Stevens, 89, Died, Friday, April 24, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in the presence of her loving family.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 26, 2009 from 3 to 5pm at Bonaventure Funeral Home, 2520 Bonaventure Rd. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 27, 2009 in the chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Meguiar officiating. Internment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Garden with Trey Martin, Zane Martin, Ed Reilly, Dan Grassi, John Gress, Lawrence Lauer and Larry Lauer serveing as casketbearers.
Born February 10, 1920 in Coxsackie, NY to the late Frank and Margaret Jump. She married her late Husband George Everett Stevens and they moved to Savannah in 1951 on his transfer with Union Bag Co. Her Husband George died in 2000.
Mabel is survived by her Daughter Tish S. Martin & her Husband John Edward, Jr. of Atlanta, her Son Leonard Everett Stevens & his Wife Nancy of Savannah, her Brother Leonard Jump of Coxsackie, NY, 10 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren and 3 Step-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother Harold Jump.
