Louis Lee Cooler, Jr., 71, of Brooklet, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 16th, 2017 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia.
He was born in Bluffton, South Carolina and raised in Hardeeville, the son of Louis Lee Cooler, Sr. and Idell Benton Cooler.
Louis was a Baptist and had worked at the Exxon fueling station in Hardeeville, South Carolina more that 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Jacqueline Stewart Cooler; his parents and his sister, Merdis "Chubby" Hall.
Survivors include his children, Louis Lee Cooler, III; Jason Cooler and Lisa Bledsoe; grandchildren, Louis Lee Cooler, IV., Derrick Cooler, Haley Cooler, Travis Cooler, Jason Bledsoe, Tiffany Haskin, Bryan Deloach, Brandi Best, Morgan Cambell; great grandchildren, Drew Best, Gabe Best, Liam Swords, Emmett Haskin, Kaydance Cooler, Jaxton Gibson, Jayden Schwnedener; brothers, Ricky and Dennis Cooler.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel. A service to celebrate Louis's life will follow the gathering beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
