Lorine Ellen Pittman Rustin, 87, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of William Carlton Rustin, died Dec 29, 2016, at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
She was born in Lyons, Georgia and was a graduate of Toombs Central High School.
Lorine was the daughter of the late Benjamin Alvin Pittman and the late Ophelia Kemp Pittman.
She was a lifelong faithful member of the Holy Church of God in Savannah, where she taught Sunday School for many years and she was a member of the Golden Apple's Sunday School Class.
Lorine had worked at Union Camp for many years, and then went to work for J. C. Penney.
She was the last survivor of 12 children.
Lorine is survived by one son, Kenneth (Agnes) of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Patricia Butler (Lawrence) of Black Creek, Georgia; and Janice Salter (Wayne) of Savannah, Georgia; 9 grandchildren, Larry, Rusty, and Patrick Butler; Carl Rustin, Karla Rustin Prichard, Brian Rustin, Joe and Alex Salter, and Sonja Salter Hicks; 14 great grandchildren, Trey, Tucker, Nicole, Russ, Wyatt, and Breanna Butler; Matthew, Andrew, Anna Prichard; Eric Rustin, Chelse Rustin Cooler, Audi Hicks, Temperence and Phoenix Salter; 1 great- great grandchild, Bentley Cooler, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Lorine was all about family and serving her Lord Jesus Christ.
Visitation: 3 - 6 p.m. Sunday at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Monday at the Holy Church of God, with Rev. Lawrence Butler, and Rev. Ryan Ralston, officiating.
Interment will be in Harden's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, at Lyons, Georgia, at 3 p.m. Monday.
Mrs. Rustin will be taken to the church to lie in state at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
