Lois Vickers, 96, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Wilbraham, MA.
Mrs. Vickers was born on September 23, 1923 in New York City, NY, the daughter of the late Laurence and Marie Cone. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward S. Vickers, Sr.; son, Edward S. Vickers, Jr.; and brother, Walter P. Cone. She is survived by her son, Keith Vickers of San Francisco, CA; daughter-in-law, Sonya Vickers of Wilbraham, MA; brother, Lawrence Cone of Idaho; granddaughter, Elizabeth Higgins and husband Matthew of Somers, CT; as well as her 3 great-grandchildren, Roman, Olympia, and Sibyl.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Richmond Hill Church of Christ, 11651 Ford Avenue (Highway 144), Richmond Hill, GA 31324. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Beacon Hospice, 815 Worcester Street, Springfield, MA 01151.
