Loderick Arnold Shuman, Sr., 86, of Savannah, died Monday, June 11, 2018 at his residence, under the care of Pruitt Hospice.
He was a native of Clyde, Georgia, and was retired from Bowman Transportation Company after 30 years of service, as a Truck Driver. He then went to work for DSI Trucking Company.He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Cooler Shuman, Savannah, Ga; 3 sons, Loderick A. Shuman, JR., (Joy Ann), Springfield, Ga; Braderick Shuman, and Darrell A. Shuman, both of Savannah, Ga; 4 daughters, Teresa Ann Strickland (Robert), Port Wentworth, Ga; Denna Shuman, Denise O'Connell, and Nina N. Vickery (Max), all of Savannah, Ga; a deceased brother, Hadleman Shuman, 19 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation: 6- 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Stephen Lee, officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
