Linda Gay Sherblon

Linda Gay Sherblon, age 77, of Savannah passed away December 14, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital
Mrs. Sherblon was born on January 22, 1944 in Brunswick, GA, one of five children of Mildred and Lewis O. Gay. She worked for many years in the motor pool at Hunter Army Airfield, beginning as a dispatcher and ultimately retiring as a supervisor. She was a longtime member of Coastal Cathedral.
Mrs. Sherblon was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Amatrudo. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Gay Wiggins (Lester); and her grandson, Anthony Joseph "AJ" Stasolla.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the funeral service at Hillcrest Abbey West on Dean Forest Road.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
