Linda Kay Reinhold, age 71, of Pooler, Georgia passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022 after a short battle with brain cancer.
Born on January 3, 1951, in Gassaway, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Bacil Ashworth Friend and the late Virginia Lee Lytle Friend. She cherished her family, her dog Lacy Lou, traveling, shopping, and history. Linda married Reverend Howard H. Reinhold on October 16, 1971 at Avon Baptist Church in Avon, Ohio. She gave birth to two beautiful daughters, Tonya Lynn and Marla Anne. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Linda worked as an Executive Secretary for various companies. In 2018, Linda and her husband moved from Ohio to Savannah, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rev. Howard H. Reinhold; her daughters, Tonya Lynn Nagy (Mike) of Georgia, Marla Anne Rodgers (Christopher) of Ohio; her five grandchildren, Travis Nagy of Georgia, Kayla Rodgers Hahn of Ohio, Cody Rodgers of Ohio, Taylor Nagy of Ohio, Tyler Nagy of Georgia; three great grandchildren, Beah Aibhlinn, Elijah Glenn, Estella Mae; two sisters, Betty Lee Friend James (Robert) of Ohio, Rebecca Susan Friend Lloyd of Ohio; and her beloved dog, Lacy Lou.
A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at Ferguson Avenue Baptist Church, 10050 Ferguson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31406 A funeral service will be held at noon with Reverend Tom Keller officiating.
