LINDA PEERSON LOPER

Mama was so much more than any words on this paper. There aren’t any words that express the impact she had on people she loved and who loved her.

She was born a small-town girl, but nothing small about her. She impacted so many people with love, laughter, wisdom and courage. Never met anyone who fought for what they loved and wanted like she did. Mama walked into a room and it was inevitable, people couldn’t keep their eyes off her. The most beautiful person most people have ever seen. She loved her family and friends more than anything. Her kids, grandkids, Mama and husband is what she lived for. If we needed anything, she is who we called. She loved taking care of us. Being “Mama” and “MeMe” was her life. Mama didn’t take no for an answer. She knew what she wanted and wouldn’t be stopped until she succeeded. Not only beautiful, but smartest woman we knew.

She loved her husband and four babies and always made sure they were happy and safe. Mama was so strong for her family. The bond she has with all of us could never be broken. She always said her family gave her strength and I know she’s right because she gave us strength.

More than just a wife, daughter, MeMe or best friend, she was a fighter. She taught us to never give up and love with all we have, enjoy life and never settle.

Her smile and hugs or just hearing her voice could make you feel better instantly. Everyone knew mama was a firecracker from day one. She was the light of our lives. No matter what was going on, she always had our backs. She taught us to fight and love unconditionally. She lived a very full life that was cut short, but the memories we have will always be with us.

She is loved and will be missed by so many people. Saying good-bye to her will never be ok, but she’d want us all to make sure we were ok and to know she loved every single one of us. She taught us to never give up on the people we love, no matter what. We love you mama and know you are watching over us.
