Linda J. Clay, age 81, of Savannah passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Mrs. Clay was born on February 4, 1942 in Savannah to the late Joseph David Williams and the late Janie Lou Bowen Williams. Before retiring, she worked as a sales associate at Penny Pinchers, and she was a member of Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Clay enjoyed making jewelry and she loved flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger Allen Clay; and son, David Queen.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law. Terri & Anthony Rahal; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Bonita & Robert Saxon; sister and brother-in-law, Janice & Donnie Gatch; grandchildren, Robert Campbell, Eric Campbell, and Mary Welch; and several great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey East.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
