Linda Birge Cantrell, 71, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away in the early morning of September 14th, 2022 with her family by her side.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Savannah. Born to Robert and Doris Birge, she was a student of Savannah High School and H.V. Jenkins where she graduated with the class of 1969. Linda was a longtime active member and officer of the Savannah Georgia and National Associations of Legal Secretaries. She worked for several law firms with the longest service as Legal Assistant and Office Manager for the Lange Law Firm. She also had many hobbies, her favorite being cake-baking and decorating. She was an avid lover of the beach, a strong
proponent of organ donation, and advocate for the American Lung Association and the National Kidney Foundation.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Donald Birge; and brother in law, James Lange. She is survived by her husband, Charles Randy Cantrell; her children, Jennifer Traub Barfield (Gregory Barfield), and Christopher Cantrell (Janie Ussery Cantrell); her five grandchildren, Karilena, Cole, Kline, Benjamin, and Lillian; and her siblings, Karen Lange, Larry Birge (Kim Helmey Birge), and Paul Birge; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16th, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
