Leslie C. Bazemore passed from this world on October the 5th. He left behind a wife, Terry Lynn Lewis Bazemore of 47 years; a son, Kevin Bazemore, his wife Tina Saengthong Bazemore and their two daughters, 5 year old Piper and 2 year old Kenzie. Also left behind was a much loved daughter, Kacie Bazemore Giles, her husband Steven, their precious son Jacob; a brother, Floyd Vaughn Bazemore; a sister, Frances Bazemore Beasley of Blackcreek, GA as well as her five children and many great nephews and nieces.
Leslie came to Savannah at about the age of nine when his family picked up roots and moved here from Sylvania GA to join other family members who had moved here before them but the large family clan always maintained a close bond. Leslie graduated from Savannah High School and soon found employment at Great Dane Trailers. He was a very dedicated worker that loved his job as well as the many other employees he came to know over the course of his years there. Leslie married and raised his two children in the home he had bought on Wilmington Island. His biggest enjoyment was the many trips he would make taking his family to Disney World Florida, indeed the happiest place on earth. He also found great love in the smiles of his Grandchildren and hearing Pa Pa.. Pa Pa! as they would run into his arms on each visit.
Still, always close to his heart was family. He always felt the loss of his parents Margie Bazemore and Floyd Bazemore. He always spoke with great pride of his Grandfather Bazemore.
My Husband… rest in peace this night where pain can no longer find you. We will all join you again one day.
May the Circle be Unbroken!
