Leonard William Neiswinter Jr.,95 , of Savannah died Friday, December 30th, 2016 at his residence.
He was a World War II veteran who fought in 5 major battles to include the Battle of the Bulge and D-Day. He moved to Winter Haven, Florida in 1970. He retired from the City of Winter Haven, Florida in 1983. He moved to Savannah in 1991.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, his daughter, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 9th, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Bonaventure Chapel, 2520 Bonaventure Road. Interment will be private in Bonaventure Cemetery.
