Leon Wallace Martin, 88, of Savannah, died Monday, Oct 24, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
He was born in Jesup, Georgia, and was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bruce Martin, and his parents, John E. Martin and Mamie Hughes Martin.
He was a graduate of Jesup High School, in Jesup, Ga.
He was a veteran, having served in the U. S. Army, and was retired from Intermarine where he served as a Dock Master.
He was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Wallace Martin (Claudia), of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a son, Bruce Walters, (Patricia), of Rincon, Ga; a daughter, Kathy Walters Watson (Kenneth), of Savannah, Ga; 2 brothers, John E. Martin of Savannah, Ga; and Harley Martin of Byron, Ga; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Graveside Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, with Rev. Sam Khalaf, officiating.
