Lee Henry Anderson, age 67, of Savannah, Georgia peacefully passed away in his sleep Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
A native of Macon, Georgia and son to Charles Anderson and Ruth Smith Anderson. He attended Savannah High School. He went on to work as a supervisor for International Papers and retired after 50 years. He is known to his friends and coworkers as "Knapsack". Throughout the years, he enjoyed joking around, going for short hikes, throwing darts, fishing and spending time at the hunting club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Anderson, and Ruth Smith Anderson; brother, Wade Anderson; and sister, Charlene Anderson Balmer.
He is survived by his daughters, Victoria Anderson Hargrove, Taylor Anderson; brother, Bruce Anderson; and his 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Bonaventure Cemetery, 330 Bonaventure Road, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
