Lawrence "Buzzy" Lee Smith Jr.

Lawrence (Buzzy) Lee Smith Jr., 71, of Daytona Beach Florida passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at his residence.
He was a native of Savannah and the son of the late Lawrence Lee Smith and Thelma Walker Smith of Savannah. He graduated from H.V. Jenkins High School and attended Georgia Southern University. After 25 years at Raytheon International, he worked at Marvin Windows until his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Smith Way and a niece Stacey Way Kitts.
Mr. Smith is survived by a brother, Robert A. Smith (Sabrina), a sister Karen Elizabeth Smith, a Brother- in-Law Bardwell B Way all of Savannah. Also, several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Kristin Jens of Ormond-by-the-Sea, Florida for her longtime love of and devotion to Buzzy.
A Graveside Service at Greenwich Cemetery will be held May 18, 2021 at 1PM.
