Lawrence Travre’ Rashad Bruin, age 31, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on September 10, 2021.
Lawrence, affectionately known as ‘Tray’, was a 31 year old father, husband, son, brother, adored cousin and faithful friend. Lawrence was born in Candler Hospital on March 22, 1990 to Lawrence F. Bruin, Jr. and Judith Rochelle Thompson Bruin. He is the baby brother of Charisse Bruin. Lawrence was a student of the SCCPSS school system and graduated from Groves High School, class of 2009. After graduation, Lawrence pursued a career as a welder. After his graduation from Savannah Technical College, Lawrence was a Container Chassis Mechanic with the International Longshoremen Association (ILA) 2046. Although a hard and busy worker, Lawrence’s pride and joy was his family. His most precious moments in life included his family - his children, wife and immediate family. Tall and powerful in stature and a teddy bear at heart with a contagious smile, Lawrence’s laughter and love could fill a room. Lawrence was not only the heartbeat of any room, he was extremely caring and attentive to others. Lawrence was a leader, jokester and a helper willing too - and did, give the shirt off of his back.
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Hannah, his children - Darius, Bella, Ava and Broly, parents, Lawrence and Judith Bruin, sister, Charisse, god-parents Jesse and Brenda Newkirk, grandmother Nancy (Lawrence) Bruin, Sr., a significant host of aunts, uncles, cousins, beloved friends and co-workers.
