LaVerne Joseph South, Jr. "Zip", 90, passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.
LaVerne was born in Savannah on September 26, 1928 to LaVerne and Louise Hardee South. He graduated from Benedictine Military School in 1947.
