Larry Wayne Smith, Jr

Larry Wayne Smith, Jr., 49, of Garden City passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his home.

A native of Savannah, he was the son of Larry Wayne Smith, Sr. and Pamela Kuharik.

Larry was a US Army veteran and attended Law Enforcement School. He had a variety of different jobs including being a Corrections Officer and Truck Driver. Larry loved boating, fishing, music, playing the guitar, horseback riding and riding motorcycles. He was a member of the Faith Riders Motorcycle Club in Blackshear, GA.

Survivors include, his daughter, Lauran Smith Ward (Andrew) of Baxley, GA; stepdaughter, Whitney Counts of Savannah, GA; father, Larry W. Smith, Sr. (Lisa Beth) of Richmond Hill. GA; mother, Pamela K. Phillips of Savannah, GA; stepbrother, Matthew Williams of Valrico, FL; several aunts, uncles, other family, friends and his faithful companion, Nacho.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel with a Life Celebration Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
