Kizzie Eady Jones

Kizzie Eady Jones, 88, passed peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord on December 15, 2015. Kizzie lived her Christian faith through her servant's heart. Kizzie made an enormous impact on the lives of those around her. Her positive attitude encouraged everyone who had the opportunity to know her.
Born on August 30, 1927, in Statesboro, Georgia, Kizzie was predeceased by her mother, Aliff Harville Jones and her father, Robert Tooms Jones. She is survived by a loving extended family.
After receiving her Associate Degree in Business from Georgia Southern University, Kizzie worked for thirty-one years for Union Camp Corporation, concluding her career as Manager of the Pricing Department for the Bag Factory. Following retiring from Union Camp Corporation, Kizzie began a career in insurance working for Bill Williams Insurance Agency and Ohio Casualty Group. Her positions included Customer Service Representative and Licensing Administrator.
Prior to moving to North Carolina, Kizzie was very involved with the Meldrim United Methodist Church. She worked with the United Methodist Youth Group, taught Sunday School, participated in the Choir, and served as Secretary of Sunday School, Secretary of Governing Board, and President of Women's Missionary Society.

Visitation with the family will be held in the social hall of the Meldrim United Methodist Church (219 3rd Street, Meldrim, Georgia) on Saturday, December 19th at 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow immediately in the sanctuary at 2:00 p.m.
